By Wasafiri Editor on November 14, 2019 in

Wasafiri is committed to profiling the best of tomorrow’s writers today, while simultaneously celebrating established literary voices. We are looking for a Chair who is passionate about inclusivity and the written word, and who has the experience, skills and time to support the strategic leadership, future vision and organisational stability of a vibrant arts organisation.

Founded in 1984 to create a new space for the publication of Asian, African and Caribbean authors and the discussion of their works, Wasafiri has spread its reach over the last thirty-five years to encompass the works of writers from all over the world.

A Chair will bring passion, commitment, and expertise to our efforts to broaden the boundaries of mainstream literary culture by discovering, supporting and promoting the best new writing, in all genres, from across the globe.
