Hirsh Sawhney
Hirsh Sawhney was joined the Wasafiri board in 2006. He is the editor of Delhi Noir, an anthology of brand-new fiction published by Akashic Books and HarperCollins India.
He regularly writes for the Times Literary Supplement and The Guardian and is a Contributing Editor for The Brooklyn Rail. An adjunct professor at the City University of New York, Hirsh has also taught English to asylum seekers in London and was a Spanish-English translator for the Independent Press Association.
He is working on his first novel and has been awarded a fellowship to study writing at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey.
