Lily Mabura's short story, 'How Shall We Kill the Bishop', published in issue 53 (Spring 2008) has been nominated for the 2010 Caine Prize for African Writing. Kenyan Mabura joins fellow shortlisted writers, Ken Barris (South Africa), Namwali Serpell (Zambia), Alex Smith (South Africa) and Olufemi Terry (Sierra Leone) as this year's nominees for the prize which also known as the 'African Booker' and highlights the best in short story fiction from Africa and the African diaspora.
